Many of us use calendars to record upcoming events, but the reminders for those calendars leave a bit to be desired. What good is a standard 10 minute reminder if you have to be across town, or need to have pre‐read a document, or should have dressed for an important meeting?

We’ve probably all had those moments that make us look bad, and they’re doubly frustrating because it’s not like our calendars don’t have the event recorded – it’s just that we weren’t alerted at the right time, in the right way.

That's Where HeadsUp Comes In

HeadsUp is not a calendar itself - the world doesn’t need another one of those! Rather, it’s a service that integrates with your existing calendar and delivers you smart reminder summaries of what’s coming up

Simple dropdown boxes populate the fields specifying the frequency and time at which the user will receive their summary.

Tapping on an event expands the basic event details, and allows the user to access the event on the original calendar, edit alerts, and add a To Do List in order to be better prepared for events.

The colorful buttons display the top 3 event categories, events marked as important and events with To Do Lists. Clicking on each box will show only events in that category. The 3 listed categories are based on the types of events the user marks as important most frequently.
